SPT[h]

Perhaps I should have highlighted #9 in my list of 100 things about me since today is the 9th, but I am sticking to the challenge as given (this week anyhow) so here is #7 on my list:
/
I buy one pair of casual shoes and wear them nearly every day till they're worn out, about 2 years, and then I buy another pair.
/
I actually think I've been wearing these shoes for 3 years. They're not exactly sea-worthy anymore.
/

I have a regular date at Winners on Tuesday afternoons during Jaclyn's piano lesson (unless I need to go to the grocery store during that time) and last week I found the next installment for my standard shoe-wear. I may break with tradition, though, and see if I can find a second pair of shoes in brown because it might be cheaper than buying myself a new black belt and black purse for those times that I feel I need to get all my leathers coordinated.
/

/
Just let me finish up by sending a shout out to April for converting me to Moleskin back in May. It turns out I'm one of those knucklehead kids who ignore parental advice, but adhere to the very same advice when given by a friend.

I never buy shoes. It's like I'm missing a vital girlie gene or something. I wear flip-flops almost year round or I just keep wearing the same shoes forever, so I'm glad to see you do too.

I'm with you. I buy one pair, maybe two if I'm feeling really spunky- one in black and one in brown. I just don't even get the whole got to have shoes thing. BTW, those are pretty cute shoes.

I hate to spend money on shoes when i should. im forever going cheapo and then they get stinky quick or wear out.

like your new shoes, very stylish!

I've got the black/brown dilemma too. I actually need some new shoes since it's getting too cold for flip flops.

Good advice!

Super cute new shoes! I remember you lamenting the condition of your old shoes at Women's Conference. Very nice replacement. And the moleskin -- I had forgotten about that.

I wear slippers (flip flops) year round too. I guess that wouldn't worked if I lived there. Been missing your posts. Hope all is well!

I adore your new shoes. Are they a Canadian only brand or can you share with us down-southers? ;o)

I second the need to know what kind of shoe you went with. They are darling and now I want a black AND brown pair too. I hate shoe shopping for some reason, much to my mother's dismay. She's a bit like Imelda Marcos, ha!

cute. I just got a pair that is similar (but I like yours better). I wore them all day around airports and got a blister. I'll have to try the moleskin!

I love to hit our Value Village for shoes. I find that shoes are my least likely purchase - unless they are under $13.00 - it must be a magic number. I just picked up two pairs of high-end shoes ( name escapes me for under $20, almost brand new. I love those cute shoes and I agree buying a brown pair might be cheaper!

I have gone to look for every-day shoes twice in the past two months and can never find anything I like. Which is plain crazy. Maybe I need you to come down and shop with me?!

The shoes are Rocketdogs and I have bought that brand once before. I have no idea of if they are a 'thing' or not.

I think your new shoes are darling...and isn't moleskin just the best...I was thinking how funny/pathetic it is that you inspire me with light and I inspire you with moleskin. That sounds about right.
