I'm a Lady of Leisure

I even have time to take in a matinee at the opera.

I love Little Red's vibratto in the phrase, "What big teeth you have!" (for fear)

Carmen was the costume designer/provider (thanks Aunt Christy), writer, composer, director, and star of the 4th grade opera project. And why not with a name like that?

She was in her glory, and I sincerely hope this has made up for her having to stay home sick when she held the coveted role of the Gingerbread Boy back in 1st grade.

that's a much better/ scarier wolf head. Looks fun, good job Carmen.

A 4th grade opera -- such culture! That is such a cute picture of her. Emerson & Avery were just talking today about how much they miss her.

Our dear Lady of Leisure did you wear a gown to the performance?

I just love the opportunities your kids have. It's so fun to read about their cultural pursuits. Carmen hit the high notes perfectly in her "song" to escape the wolf at the end.

How delightful! She is a born performer. The vibrato was the perfect touch.

I LOVE the scream! We must have an operetta this summer with cousins. I will write and direct it.

Some of my best memories are of little plays we did at RDL.

Nice job, Carmen! Will there be more 4th grade opera to come? I'd love to see more.

Seems like a perfect role for her. Well done!

What I would give to attend the opera in the daytime!
