52 Blessings

My morning commute.
What a way to start the day, driving towards the mountains as I take the kids to school. If I take a deep breath while I look towards the mountains I can get the feeling of filling myself with mountain air. It makes me want to turn on a little John Denver, actually.

I took a deep breath in as I veiwed your mountain and could ALMOST taste that mountain air!!! Ha! That really is a great blessing - I love the mountains and totally missed them when we lived in Mountain-less Chicago for a few years.

I have a picture in my head of the Canadian Rockies. My family drove up to Alberta one summer--the mountains are breathtaking! Lucky you!

Can you believe that I only noticed that scenery when I moved into the city?!? DOn't know what you have until you lose it! That is an AMAZING shot. Did I really live that close to the mountains?

Wow, that is beautiful scenery for a commute.

Cool hockey picture in your previous post too! I love the "I'm sure the apron made me look like I was working" quote!

Wow, I would trade that morning commute to our D.C. traffic for sure! Except I am thinking I like our weather better.

10 minutes, but only 6 minutes of it is facing the mountains.

Take me home, Mountain Mama! Can I say how happy John Denver makes me? Scary really.

I love that you find your commute a blessing...perhaps I should start looking at mine that way as well.
