We are getting pretty excited about our new temple here in Calgary!
On Wednesday night we went through the temple on a tour with Steven, Carmen, and Chloe - which was really special for them to see all the areas of a temple before they are adults. I know they left looking forward to returning again.
The wheat motif in the stained glass is my favourite detail, but the funniest thing I've heard is Ken telling me about someone who wanted to know the significance of the golfer on top. (For real or just a good story?)
Building anticipation for the temple dedication, Carmen and Chloe have been embroidering a simple image of the temple onto lace handkerchiefs.
If an embroidery hoop opens up I think I'll do one myself.
