There's a first time for everything.

I never thought that sports photography would have been practical training for motherhood. I didn't see Steven coming.
Steve warming up before the game. (I did a little warming up myself.)

He got the first foul,

the first points,
/
and the first assist for his team tonight.
/
(While I took my first basketball pictures.)

Very nice Barb. Steven's stats and your photos. Looking forward to more throughout the season.

You did a great job with these pictures, I'm sure he'll love them.

Good Job, Steve!

But Barb - the orange picture is gone! I like scanning my comments and finding you at a glance. It pops.

I have such a thing for moleskine...seeing it right there on your side bar makes me heart pitter-pat.

Good for both of you! I wish we were closer to come cheer Steven on in his sports endeavors.

Your "what I'm reading now" planner cracked me up!

You have a great talent (and camera!) AND a great athlete. Well done, both of you!

Aha! Yet another mother-skill we all needed to learn! :) (I guess it's just on the job training for most of those things!)

Wow...well done.

I can't even imagine my Ian old enough to do this. How exhilarating to take moving shots.

No, I would not have seen that coming either. What a lot of firsts!

Your Pictures look good. I always have trouble taking pictures of my childrens games. When we had soccer I just left the camera at home.

I think that it is so fun to have photos of the games our littles play. They have no idea how fun it all looks from our point of view! Great job!

Well, the sports photos look great, and Steven looks like he is having a blast. How amazing to be gifted at every sport! (Definitely not me)

Your SPT made me laugh. I think you look great in all your photos, but I do the same thing when I take the time to analize my pictures. "If I could just change this...and this...and this..."

I am well-impressed! Photographing basketball is particularly challenging because of the lighting and the speed. You did great! (and so did he...)
