This is one of my favorite things to do too. Except the few times I've been out on a day or on a hubby solo trip, I've only missed two nights - and it was because I was too sick and made Craig get up and check on them. Seeing them sleep, always reminds of how peaceful motherhood can be. Thanks for this post, your photo looks beautiful too Barb!

i love to wander into jack's room before i go to bed. i just can't fall asleep without taking that particular path.
I agree-sleeping children is the reward sometimes at the end of the day- everything seems alright once again-
