Carmen's costume for this year required a teensy bit of sewing, which I was really happy not to do. This girl is getting so useful - I'm sorry to send her to school tomorrow.
Yes, she is very helpful. Loved having her around last weekend. I was trying to think of ways to get her to come up for a while, with Chloe of course. We'd get a lot done together.

sewing her own costume, way to go Carmen!
Yes, and I've heard from Kelly that your children are more useful than most. "But of course," I think. "They've been trained by Barb." Lucky children.
If you can spare her, I am still in the midst of costumes. I'm sure she'd do a better job sewing them than I.
And I think Aimee misses her idol.
You have trained her well! What a cute photos.
WoW! That is so neat that she is doing it on her own! Way to go mom!
what is she being?
I love and admire independent kids! (And the parents who help helped them become that way.)
Yeah, I could use her too. All I have are about 3 black capes...which I make the kids use every Halloween...
Will you be my mom? I could use training in some fundamental skills.
Can't wait to see the final result. And sewing it herself? Very cool!
DITTO to Jill's comment! Uh oh, I guess that means I'm failing my kids...
