Just when I think I can't love our school or our teachers more, they go and do something like this:

As we pulled out of the parking lot today on our last day of school all the teachers stood at the corner to wave and call good-bye to us as we drove off. I almost teared up over it - I can't imagine what it will be like leaving this school for the last time seven years from now.

That's so sweet!
You never really leave RDL...
Congrats on all the end of year honors--what a wonderful experience to have teachers that feel that way about their students.
Those are the kind of teachers I want my kids to have....
I am just as sentimental and surely would have teared up as well.
Your outstanding children reflect your outstanding mothering.
What are the chances of me and my crew staying on your floor one night in mid-July? David is eyeing the drive from Whistler to Banff and wondering if we might have housing with friends. Is this overstepping my bounds? What if I asked for breakfast too? Tee hee.
That is a very nice gesture from the teachers, that is for sure.
If you get a slumber party with April and family, I will be very jealous!
There is nothing like loving your school and its teachers!
