End of The Reign of Terror

/The thing about summer birthdays is that your family has to put up with you all day, and submit to your every whim. All day.
The birthday girl chooses what we eat, what we do, what we play, where we go, and what we watch on t.v. because it's her birthday. I myself have an October birthday so I probably spent my 7th birthday in school where birthday privileges are limited, but I imagine *queen for the day* is quite a heady experience.

Chloe chose the cake, how to ice it, and where to position the candles (though when it was time to eat she regretted the vanilla icing and wished she'd gone all chocolate).
Happy Birthday Chloe. Sweet dreams. Tomorrow is a new, and different, day.

I keep picturing Chloe in that picture with her button covers with her hand covering her mouth. What a cute, cute picture.

I think your title is hilarious. It says it all . . . along with the last line.

I bet your are exhausted. Living with a queen or princess every day takes its toll! Hopefully yours is asleep.

I have noticed every day is longer in the summer. Both with the sun and the work! Man if I had to deal with a birthday too I might be thrown over the edge! But she does look awfully sweet sitting there with her cake! Happy Birthday Chloe!

That's a lot of power for a little girl to wield.

I have a summer birthday and I have had people say they feel sorry for summer birthday kids because they don't get to be around their friends on their birthday. Being the shy girl I was, missing a day of attention was fine by me. Plus I got to be queen for the whole day right? Alexis' 7th birthday is next month. I didn't realize they were so close in age.

Happy Birthday! Too funny about the summer birthday thing versus one during the school year. It's totally true! What a cute little "diva" for the day!

Ok, so your last few posts are full of so much eye candy! I just want to escape into that little world of fresh air, nature, mountains, water, wildlife, glaciers! Breath taking and beyond words! I can't imagine actually being there! What an incredible place! ANd I want to ride that horse! I haven't ridden since I was very young and I'm always telling my hubby, someday I'll ride again! Ha! ;)

Good to catch up! I look forward to having a little more leisure time in the fall for blog stalking! :)

So funny and true. Our summer birthday was the exact same. I litterally thought the same thing as you. I also thought: "look, kid, no one else gets everyone's attention the WHOLE day long!"
Happy B-day Chloe!

Happy birthday to Chloe...I always thought the summer birthdays got ripped off but you have proven me wrong...queen for a day, I love it!

We're crossing the border into Canada this week, on the other end from you, but still...I'll think of you as we cross!

My girls are all going to feel ripped off about the lack of summer birthday after they figure this out!

Heh, heh...I'm a bit of a birthday snob too. Although I don't reign with terror - just authority. It is our day, after all. I'm glad Chloe had hers, and now hope you can all have yours back.
