Chloe and Carmen both went for the fake injuries for April Fool's Day last week. Carmen didn't come home with many stories, but Chloe had a whole list of people she'd fooled. (I'd call it a list of good sports.) Carmen did say that lots of her friends wanted to try the crutches. Those things are the best/worst purchase I ever made at Value Village. The kids love 'em, but they get on my nerves - so sometimes I hide them. Man, I'm glad I remembered my hiding place when Carmen went looking for them last Wednesday morning.
Brynlee is sitting right beside me and when the picture came up she said, "What happened to Carmen?!" You fooled us!
ReplyDeleteSmart girls! (I hadn't ever thought of that!)
ReplyDeleteYour comment about the crutches made me laugh--I feel the same way about them. The kids think they are a great toy that we keep in the back of the closet and won't let them play with!
Wow, I've never seen anyone go all-out with fake injuries for April Fool's Day, how funny.
ReplyDeleteIf this post had a different title, I am sure I would have been taken in.
ReplyDeletethat is such a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteThat's just plain funny!
ReplyDeleteWe're so un-fun at my house. (I think the extent of our April Fool's was Marc putting raw lentils in the boys' lunches.)
