Crazy Hair Day

/
Steven watching (oh so carefully) for the carpool. I sure hope the color washes out after school before he gets on the bus for the youth temple trip tonight.

Chloe would have no part of the green hair spray for her flower garden hairstyle. She is against all things artificially colored and hair products in general.

For Carmen I braided in yarn extensions to create a crown on her head. We then added sticks and feathers to make it a nest. It actually turned out really pretty, and if I had a little more Stargirl in me I would do her hair like this on regular school days!

  4. Those are all fantastic! I love them all. Suits each of them. And Chloe was born in the wrong era I think. She is turning into quite the hippy isn't she?

  5. I'm having irreverent thoughts about the font turning a slight shade of green.

  7. Wow, you created miniature works of art! Amazing. Our crazy hair days usually involve spikes or different-colored pony tail holders. You've taken it to a whole new level!

  13. I love these crazy hair styles. They are so creative!

I also love the idea of your chicken pot pie dinner from the previous post. Very neat idea to be at the ready in a time of need. And best-case scenario, no one needs it, and you get the prize!

  14. The green washed out - not a hint of it in the font.

  15. Carter's shampoo is green, and this morning I was scrubbing up his hair and teased him that his hair was going to be green forever. He said that no hair ever turned green, so after he was dressed I brought him over to the computer to show him cousin Steve. He was shocked and didn't know if he was supposed to feel worried about Steven or laugh because it was funny.

  17. Oh, the fun! Sometimes I wake up and feel like I've got a bird's nest in my hair, but Carmen's is way cuter.

  21. Love the creative hair! For our boys we have only done mohawks and/or color. How fantastic to have daisies and a nest in your hair! I am sure they really stood out with their creative goodness!
