SPT: Emblem of the land I love

/I considered sitting out of SPT this month, the theme is just so American. I decided to leave it to a coin toss: Heads, I'm out. Maple leaves, I'm in.

  4. You are so clever. Glad you're in, and I've always been a big fan of the Maple Leaf emblem (and it's citizens).

  5. I'm glad you chose not to be left out. Because, it might come from an American song, but just like you proved, there are emblems of the lands we love in every nation. Oh Canada! Hey...I've sung that song before:)

  6. It might be a different
Grand Old Flag, but it's still grand!

  8. I'm ever so glad.

You look stunning, of course, but I'm cringing at bit that it's possibly still jacket weather there.

  9. Ok, maybe the songs are very American, but the patriotic thing is all the same. Glad you are participating. See how much I know about Canada, I didn't know if that was heads or not. I have traveled and lived all over Europe, but I don't know much about this side of the world. Maybe one day I will get up to Canada! Thank Heavens for heads, though. Maybe I can learn a little through your posts!

  14. You were my first thought when I saw the theme this month. I thought, "Oh Good, can't wait to see what awesome things Barb does for the land SHE loves." Glad you stayed in, I think Lelly did a good job picking phrases from the songs that can be applied to any beloved country.

And now I'm educated about the heads and tails part. It wasn't until I read other people's comments that I realized that was actually heads. I'm slow that way. So what does the tail look like?
