SPT

I caught a literal (ski) lift today with my family.
Heading outdoors is a definite mood lifter for me. I wasn't needing that kind of boost today, but I enjoyed the benefits nevertheless.
I did snowboard in the morning, but it felt sooo good to put skis on again this afternoon! (I could not have boarded and self portraited at the same time!)

    Fresh air and family--I doesn't get any better! Sounds like you are enjoying snowboarding. Very adventurouse! I am not a winter sports person at all. You make it look fun though!

    Oh man, what a creative LIFT picture, Barb! I honestly don't know another thirty-ish woman (besides you) that even attempts snowboarding...I'm STILL impressed.

    I love this, I have never been skiing or boarding. My husband loves it, and grew up doing it. This is a great "lift"-

    i just wish i could be there to try that. i've only been skiing once, and it was very long ago. as i've said, i'm so in awe of your 'boarding!!

    I have never skied. And I live in Utah. Crazy I know. I was thinking about you this morning and wondering what cool picture you would post for spt. You did not disappoint.
    How are you liking Housekeeping? I remember reading it college and not necessarily liking it in the beginning, but by the end, especially after discussing it in class, I loved it.

    What a great photo. Outside for me too but minus the cold and snow and definitely the skis. My shadow would have been a big lump where I fell on the ground.
