It's just about time for the Calgary Stampede and for a pre-stampede event our church held a city wide western party for teenagers ages 14-18 this past Saturday. I was there as a youth leader running the barrel racing event. I brought in 3 barrels and timed the kids who raced piggy back style against the clock. It was a blast! Here I am all duded up for Stampede.

  8. You look darling! Since I was much, much younger, the Calgary Stampede has always been on my list of "To Do Before I Die"'s. Perhaps some year I'll meet you there!

  9. You look so good in that hat! So much fun, I went to the Calgary Stampede as a teen ager - and had a lot of fun. However, I remember there being a huge deal about several fatal crashes that year. It's all cloudy because it's been so long! Have fun!
